From Professional Organizer to QuickBooks ProAdvisor
Amber’s path to bookkeeping didn’t begin in an accounting office, it began in the homes of Chicago.

From 2004 to 2023, Amber ran a professional organizing business serving homeowners across Chicago and its suburbs, leading a team of organizers and helping families bring order to the spaces they lived in. In 2016, while still running that business, she founded Amber’s Accounting & Bookkeeping. By 2023, she had made the full transition to virtual bookkeeping for small businesses, trading closets and kitchens for charts of accounts and profit and loss statements. The throughline between both careers is the same instinct: find the chaos, bring the clarity.
Amber believes every business owner deserves accurate numbers, not just for tax season, but for the real decisions that determine whether a business grows or stalls.
Amber’s goal is to equip service-based small businesses with the financial clarity they need to move forward with confidence. Business owners already carry enough stress. Organized financials create more time to focus on growth.
Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and is a Level 2 QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, a combination that gives her a perspective on financial organization that few bookkeepers can match.
Amber grew up on the northwest side of Chicago in Edison Park and now lives in Hartland, Wisconsin. In her free time, she can be found on a ski slope, out on a run, or in the kitchen tending to a sourdough starter. She shares her home with her husband Daniel, two cats, and a dog.
